This locum tenens position requires you to direct and manage daily operations and oversee a team of pharmacy technicians. The role includes quality improvement, policy development, and staff development. Hospital experience is necessary.

Job Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage daily administrative operations to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Develop outcome measures and integrate them into organization-wide quality improvement systems.
  • Implement and evaluate policies, ensuring adherence to professional standards.
  • Supervise staff and utilize HR policies to encourage professional growth.
  • Plan and evaluate computer-based systems for data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee purchasing and inventory management for pharmaceutical products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred.
  • Completion of a 1-year residency is preferred.
  • Three to five years of pharmacist experience; at least two years in hospital practice preferred.
  • Current and valid state pharmacy license required; Arizona license preferred.
  • Ability to administer immunizations and emergency medications preferred.
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Working Hours

  • Dayshift with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday.
