The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility in working various shifts, including day, night, swing, and weekend hours. Job Responsibilities

  • Direct, manage, and supervise daily administrative pharmacy operations to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Develop and implement operational and financial outcome measures.
  • Evaluate and develop departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assess and facilitate continuous process improvement.
  • Supervise staff development through feedback and HR policies.
  • Plan and evaluate dispensing systems for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage inventory to ensure timely availability of pharmaceuticals.
  • Facilitate professional growth through learning opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly progress reports, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Engage in departmental orientation and training programs.
  • Participate in educational programs to maintain competency levels.

Qualifications

  • Five years of professional experience with at least two years in management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred.
  • Current and valid state Pharmacy license; Arizona license preferred.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Experience in hospital (inpatient and outpatient) and ER settings.
