Job Responsibilities
- Direct and manage daily operations ensuring high-quality service.
- Develop operational and financial measures and integrate these into Quality Improvement systems.
- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures.
- Assess program, service, and functional effectiveness, facilitating continuous improvement.
- Supervise staff, providing feedback and using HR tools for growth.
- Plan and manage computer-based dispensing systems for efficiency and accuracy.
- Oversee purchasing and inventory management for effective cost and availability.
- Facilitate staff professional growth by coordinating learning opportunities.
- Prepare operational reports identifying areas for improvement.
- Participate in training, orientation, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Engage in hospital educational programs to maintain skills and competency.
Qualifications
- Five years of professional pharmacy experience with two in management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred with 1-year residency.
- Current and valid state Pharmacy license required; Arizona license preferred.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Must pass background and drug screening.
