Job Responsibilities

• Direct and manage daily operations ensuring high-quality service.
• Develop operational and financial measures and integrate these into Quality Improvement systems.
• Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures.
• Assess program, service, and functional effectiveness, facilitating continuous improvement.
• Supervise staff, providing feedback and using HR tools for growth.
• Plan and manage computer-based dispensing systems for efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee purchasing and inventory management for effective cost and availability.
• Facilitate staff professional growth by coordinating learning opportunities.
• Prepare operational reports identifying areas for improvement.
• Participate in training, orientation, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Engage in hospital educational programs to maintain skills and competency.

Qualifications

• Five years of professional pharmacy experience with two in management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred with 1-year residency.
• Current and valid state Pharmacy license required; Arizona license preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Must pass background and drug screening.
