Job Responsibilities
– Direct, manage, and supervise daily administrative operations to ensure the highest quality service and adherence to professional and regulatory standards.
– Develop operational and financial outcome measures, implement tracking systems, and integrate with organization-wide Quality Improvement initiatives.
– Create, implement, and evaluate departmental policies and procedures and promote continuous process improvement.
– Develop and supervise staff, providing timely feedback and utilizing appropriate HR tools for professional growth and performance.
– Oversee computer-based information and dispensing systems for data efficiency and accuracy.
– Manage purchasing and inventory management functions for cost-effective and timely pharmaceutical availability.
– Facilitate staff growth by assessing learning needs and coordinating learning opportunities.
– Prepare monthly operational reports identifying areas for improvement.
– Participate in departmental orientation, training, and quality assurance programs.
– Engage in hospital educational programs for skill and competency maintenance.
Qualifications
– Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, PharmD preferred; 1-year residency (PGY1) desirable.
– Minimum of five years professional experience with two years in management.
– Current and valid Pharmacy license, Arizona license preferred.
– BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
