Job Responsibilities
- Direct, manage, and supervise daily administrative operations to align with professional, regulatory, and governmental standards.
- Develop operational and financial outcome measures and tracking systems, integrating them into organization-wide Quality Improvement systems.
- Direct and evaluate the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Facilitate continuous process improvement by assessing program effectiveness.
- Oversee hiring and provide feedback to staff, ensuring professional growth and performance standards.
- Plan and implement computer-based information and dispensing systems for efficiency.
- Manage purchasing and inventory to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely availability of pharmaceuticals.
- Facilitate staff development by identifying learning needs and coordinating opportunities.
- Prepare monthly operational reports, identifying improvement areas.
- Actively participate in departmental training and quality assurance programs.
Qualifications
- Five years of professional experience, including two years of management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred, including a 1-year residency.
- Current and valid state Pharmacy license, required (Arizona license preferred).
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Must pass a background and drug screen.
