Job Responsibilities
– Direct, manage, and supervise daily pharmacy operations, ensuring high-quality service aligned with professional and governmental standards.
– Develop operational and financial outcome measures and integrate them into Quality Improvement systems.
– Implement and evaluate policies and procedures relevant to the pharmacy department.
– Facilitate continuous process improvement through regular assessment of programs and services.
– Supervise the development and professional growth of pharmacy staff.
– Manage computer-based information and dispensing systems for operational efficiency.
– Oversee purchasing and inventory management functions for cost-effective pharmaceutical availability.

Qualifications
– Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of Pharmacy; PharmD with a 1-year residency preferred.
– Five years of professional experience with two years of management experience in a hospital setting preferred.
– Current and valid state Pharmacy license; Arizona license is preferred.
– BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
– Must pass background and drug screenings.
