Job Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage daily pharmacy operations ensuring high-quality service.
  • Develop and oversee departmental policies and quality improvement measures.
  • Facilitate continuing education and professional growth for staff.
  • Ensure efficient inventory management and timely availability of pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in hospital educational programs and maintain competency levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred.
  • Current valid state Pharmacy license (Arizona state license preferred).
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Must have a minimum of five years of professional experience with two years in management, and hospital experience, ideally including inpatient, outpatient, and ER settings.
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screen.

Working Hours

  • Variable; expected to cover night shifts and potentially other scheduling as required.
