Job Responsibilities
– Direct and supervise daily pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with professional, regulatory, and governmental standards.
– Develop operational metrics and integrate them into organization-wide quality improvement systems.
– Implement and evaluate departmental policies and procedures.
– Manage purchasing and inventory to ensure cost-effective pharmaceutical availability.
– Facilitate staff development through continuous feedback and training opportunities.
– Optimize computer-based information and dispensing systems to enhance efficiency.
– Participate in departmental orientation and ongoing quality assurance programs.
– Provide timely patient counseling and medication management.

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred with a one-year residency.
– Current and valid state Pharmacy license, with Arizona preferred.
– BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
– Minimum of five years professional experience, including two years in management.
– Experience in both outpatient and inpatient/hospital settings is required.
