Job Responsibilities
- Provide general orthopedic surgery care
- Manage consults and emergency department visits
- Perform surgeries including wrist, ankle, and hip fractures, and I&Ds
- Stabilize long bone trauma for transfer
- Remain on-call and within 20 minutes of the facility at all times
Qualifications
- Must be Board Certified
- Active NC medical license and DEA (NC address required)
- Must be vaccinated
- Credentialed with Medicaid/Medicare and enrolled with PECOS
- Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
Working Hours
- 24-hour on-call coverage from October 13, 7 AM to October 16, 7 AM
Skills
- Competency in arthroscopy, total joint replacements, and joint revisions
- Ability to perform hand surgery, tendon release/repair, and peripheral nerve surgery
- Experience with instrumentation and percutaneous disc surgery for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions
