Job Responsibilities
– Administer anesthesia for a range of surgical procedures including orthopedics, pediatrics, regional, and thoracic cases.
– Perform central and arterial line placements.
– Manage patients’ anesthesia care pre-operatively, intra-operatively, and post-operatively.
Qualifications
– Must have an active license and DEA.
– Board Certified or Board Eligible.
– Certification in BLS required.
– Ability to perform tasks related to the administration of general, spinal, and regional anesthesia.
Working Hours
– Guaranteed 8-hour shifts with defined start and end times; overnight call as specified.
– Coverage over weekends and specified weekdays required.
– Call duties include 24-hour availability.
Skills
