Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments
  • Obtain and/or verify patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
  • Perform induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitor the patient's physiological condition
  • Execute clinical interventions as needed

Qualifications

  • Current license as a registered professional nurse
  • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program
  • Certification or recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Working Hours

  • Standard shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Required on-call: 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend per month

Skills

  • Competency in providing anesthesia for general and orthopedic cases
  • Strong communication skills for patient interaction and consent
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a supervised setting with an MD to CRNA ratio of 1 to 4
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations
