A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is needed on a locum tenens basis at a leading healthcare facility in Syracuse, New York. This role requires expertise in delivering anesthesia for various surgical cases including general surgery, GYN, bariatrics, orthopedics with blocks, neuro/heads, and pediatrics. You will work under a supervision model in Multiple Operating Rooms (MOR) and surgery centers. The position offers flexible shift schedules with 8, 10, or 12-hour options, with a preference for 8-hour shifts.

- Stipends: Car rental/mileage stipend of $400/weekly and lodging/housing stipend of $165/day available for non-local candidates

Job Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitor patients' physiological conditions
- Perform clinical interventions as needed
Qualifications
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduated from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Working Hours
- Shifts available Monday to Friday, with start times at 7:00 AM
- No overtime required
- On-call duties for in-house OB care preferred
