Job Responsibilities
– Provide psychiatric care in inpatient mental health units, consult liaison roles, and crisis stabilization settings.
– Collaborate with a behavioral health team to deliver services to adolescents and adults.
– Participate in overnight call schedules with low call volumes.
Qualifications
– Board-Certified in Psychiatry.
– Experience treating patients aged 12 and up.
– Willing to support inpatient, consult, and crisis stabilization services.
– Compliance with licensing requirements or willingness to obtain necessary qualifications.
Working Hours
– 10-hour days from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
– 7 days on/7 days off schedule
– Overnight call coverage during duty weeks.
Skills
– Required experience in anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, and psychotic disorders.
– Preferred familiarity with developmental disorders and organic disorders.
– Proficiency in pharmacotherapy, group therapy, and family therapy preferred.
