Job Responsibilities
- Manage pharmacotherapy for medical problems including cardiovascular, endocrine, infectious disease, pulmonary, and renal conditions.
- Conduct dosing (anticoagulation therapy, cardiac, geriatric, high-alert meds, pediatric, pharmacokinetic, renal, warfarin).
- Perform intravenous preparation and administration (antibiotics, compounding, IV piggyback, sterile technique).
- Oversee medication dispensing systems (Pyxis, unit dose systems).
- Verify orders and manage clinical alerts from PharmacyOneSource queue during shift hours.
Qualifications
- MO state pharmacy license (facility will accept pending, must be in process or start once offered)
- Minimum of 1 year experience required
- BLS certification preferred
Working Hours
- 4×10 Days (specific shift hours may vary)
- Weekend shifts required
