Job Responsibilities
– Manage common endocrine conditions such as hyper/hypothyroidism, Graves' disease, thyroid nodules, pituitary issues, and diabetes
– Perform Fine Needle Aspirations (FNA) as necessary
– Collaborate with an RN, diabetes educator, dietitian, and an APP to provide comprehensive care
Qualifications
– MD/DO with Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Endocrinology
– Active state license required
– BLS certification required
– Proficient in managing various endocrine conditions
– DEA and CSR required
– Minimum of 1-year experience preferred
Working Hours
– Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
– Two weeks of coverage per month, with dates pre-scheduled for 2026 and flexibility starting in 2027
Skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as a solo physician with one APP
– Skilled in the use of EPIC, the EMR/documentation system
– Competent in performing FNA and managing various endocrine conditions
