Job Responsibilities

  • Verify and fill medication orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor patient medication therapies and provide critical drug information.
  • Identify and mitigate potential medication safety hazards.
  • Document interactions for comprehensive medical review.
  • Supervise and guide support personnel in medication processes.
  • Conduct and manage daily reports on medication utilization.
  • Engage in pharmacy-related programs, including clinical rounds and medication management activities.
  • Adhere to regulatory, accrediting, and licensing standards and laws.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a school of pharmacy; Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred.
  • Pharmacist license in the state of practice is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.
  • Preferred: One year of technical experience and inpatient clinical pharmacy experience.
