Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts with optional weekend shifts
Patient Population: All Ages
Location: Duluth, MN

Job Responsibilities
– Administer various anesthesia types, including general, spinal, regional, and open heart
– Conduct preoperative assessments and create anesthesia care plans
– Provide anesthesia for a range of procedures, including complex surgical cases
– Manage and monitor patients’ anesthetic care during surgery
– Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues

Qualifications
– Graduate (Master's or Doctorate) of an accredited school of nurse anesthesia
– Current licensure as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Minnesota or eligibility to obtain one
– Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
– Current certification in CPR and ACLS/BCLS

Working Hours
– Varied shifts: 8, 10, 12-hour shifts Monday–Friday; 12 or 16-hour shifts on weekends
– Some weekend shifts may be necessary

Skills
– Competence in general and regional anesthesia
– Proficient in anesthesia for adult, pediatric, neonatal, and trauma cases
– Experience with arterial line placement and ventilation management
– Strong communication and patient management skills
