Job Responsibilities
– Provide obstetric care, including emergency assessments and surgical interventions such as hysterectomy, ectopic pregnancy surgeries, and more.
– Collaborate with a team of five midwives to support labor and delivery operations.
– Manage a high patient volume, approximately 25 encounters per shift.
– Provide comprehensive care for both high and low-risk pregnancies.

Qualifications
– Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
– BLS certification required.

Working Hours
– In-house 24-hour call shifts, several shifts per month.

Skills
– Proficiency in handling high-risk and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and multiple births.
– Expertise in FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and routine and complicated deliveries is essential.
– Capable of performing gynecologic surgeries when necessary, with preference for laparoscopic and open procedures.
