Job Responsibilities
- Compound, prepare, mix, manufacture, and dispense medications
- Oversee proper handling and storage of drugs
- Ensure medication therapy is safe, efficacious, and cost-effective
- Supervise and train pharmacy technical personnel
- Participate in clinical rounds, emergency department tasks, and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Pharmacist license in the state of practice required
- Graduate from a school of pharmacy; Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least two years of technical experience preferred
- One year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Board certification (BCPS) preferred, but not required
Working Hours
- Variable shifts, primarily day hours
- Weekend coverage required
