Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to surgical patients, working closely with physicians and healthcare teams.
- Participate in surgical procedures including cauterizing, suturing, and hemostasis.
- Manage patient treatments including rounding, progress notes, orders, and discharges.
- Assist with emergencies such as C-sections and hip fracture cases during weekend calls.
Qualifications
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications required
- Valid NY State License
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a surgical setting
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Board Certified
Working Hours
- Weekday shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Weekend call shifts: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
