Job Responsibilities

  • Perform urological procedures, reflective of at least 50 cases in the past 12 months
  • Provide outpatient and surgical care, utilizing advanced laparoscopic and robotic techniques
  • Conduct routine patient encounters, approximately 20 per shift

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship in Urology
  • Current board certification or board eligibility with the American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery – Urological Surgery
  • MI License, MI CDS, and MI DEA required
  • Prior experience in advanced endoscopic, laparoscopic, and ureteroscopy procedures

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 2-week on/2-week off rotation

Skills

  • Proficiency in general urology for adults and some pediatric cases
  • Required skills in laparoscopic surgeries and ureteroscopy
  • Capability to conduct renal and bladder ultrasounds with biopsies
  • Preferred proficiency in robotic, prostatectomy, and nephrectomy surgeries
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
