Job Responsibilities
– Compound and dispense medications for patient care.
– Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine necessary ingredients.
– Manage and oversee pharmacy staff in mixing, packaging, and labeling.
– Counsel patients on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage.
– Participate in quality assurance and security procedures, including controlled substances management.
– Maintain pharmacy records, billing systems, and inventory.
– Train interns and collaborate with pharmacy personnel.
– Engage in customer service and support pharmaceutical programs.

Qualifications
– Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of California.
– Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited school.
– Current BLS Certification.
– Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
