Job Responsibilities
- Conduct order verification and address clinical alerts related to pharmacokinetic or renal dosing.
- Manage medication dispensing systems and ensure suitable pharmaceutical care for a variety of medical problems.
- Independently handle the inpatient pharmacy operations during shift hours without pharmacy technician support.
- Engage in intravenous preparation and medication dispensing using systems like Pyxis.
Qualifications
- Active MO state pharmacy license required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience.
- BLS certification preferred.
Working Hours
- 10-hour shifts on weekdays and 12-hour shifts on weekends, following a 7-day on, 7-day off schedule.
Skills
- Required: Comprehensive dosing skills (anticoagulation therapy, pediatric dosing, etc.), intravenous preparation, and medication dispensing systems knowledge.
- Preferred: Cardiac dosing, drug shortage management.
