Job Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for a wide spectrum of surgical cases, excluding transplants.
- Provide critical care for OB, thoracic, orthopedic, ENT, and GI cases.
- Perform and manage epidurals and spinals independently; no block assistance required.
- Adapt to work in various OR settings within the facility's network, including satellite hospitals and ASC.
- Deliver emergency coverage, including holiday shifts.
Qualifications
- Current VA license at the time of submission
- American Heart Association Certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of Level 2 Trauma experience
- Proficiency in epidural and spinal procedures required
Working Hours
- Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), at least 36 hours per week
- Schedule planned out 8 weeks in advance
Skills
- Strong experience in OB, thoracic, and emergency cases
- Preferred pediatric experience
- Excellent communication skills for teamwork in high-pressure settings
