Job Responsibilities

• Perform general and specialized surgical procedures including but not limited to trauma surgery, laparoscopic surgery, head/neck surgery, and more.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
• Manage critical surgical cases requiring immediate intervention.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (minimum requirement) in General Surgery
• Advanced certifications: ABLS, ACLS, BLS required
• Trauma surgery experience required; experience in pediatric surgery is preferred
• Minimum credentialing timeframe of 30 days

Working Hours

• Day shifts in a rotational or scheduled format, according to hospital needs

• Proficiency in laparoscopic, trauma, and various subspecialty surgical procedures
• Competency in ventilation management, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and more
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations
