Job Responsibilities
- Perform essential GI procedures such as colonoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy, proctoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, hemorrhoidal banding, upper GI endoscopy, PEG, esophageal variceal banding, banding lesions, and dilation.
- Manage hospitalized GI patients, including those with acute GI bleed.
- Conduct ERCP procedures if certified.
- Provide 24-hour on-call hospital coverage and conduct daily rounds and consultations.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Licensed in North Dakota or eligible for pending license or IMLC
- BLS and DEA certifications are required
- Clean malpractice record highly preferred
- Recent Self-Query NPDB report required
- Experience in general GI with ERCP preferred
Working Hours
- 24-hour on-call duty with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
- In-house hospital rounding and procedures for 8 hours per shift
- Flexible rounding times based on patient consultative needs
