This locum tenens assignment offers a dynamic critical care setting with a dedicated team, flexible rotating 13-hour shifts, and the chance to engage in both days and nights across a 6-9 month tenure. Advanced Practice Providers in this role will manage complex cardiac patients in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary covering provider managing pediatric congenital cardiac patients
- Handle high-acuity cases including surgical pre- and post-op care, single ventricle physiology, and ECMO
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a critical care environment
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric Cardiac ICU
- Completion of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program
- Active New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing
- Current national certification as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA
- BLS from AHA and PALS from ABA required
- Pediatric Acute Care Physician Assistant certification preferred
Working Hours
- Rotate through day (6:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and night (6:00 PM – 7:00 AM) shifts
- Scheduled shifts may include weekends and holidays as required by unit needs
