This locum tenens position offers an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services in an outpatient and inpatient setting. Working within a diverse cultural environment, you'll serve neo-natal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients. This role requires flexibility to work rotational shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The position supports career advancement to advanced practice levels based on pharmacy experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services.
  • Direct clinical pharmacy services for inpatient and outpatient departments.
  • Manage specialized pharmacy-based clinics and evaluate clinical services.
  • Oversee and administer policies, procedures, and activities in line with facility’s mission and goals.
  • Supervise and provide technical and administrative leadership to pharmacy staff.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school.
  • Current valid and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the U.S.
  • Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a Registered Pharmacist.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Clinical Pharmacist.

Working Hours

  • Rotational shifts; must be available for day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Skills

  • Strong clinical pharmacy skills and ability to provide direct patient care.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to manage and supervise a diverse team.
  • Competency in evaluating and developing clinical pharmacy programs.
  • Ability to adapt to a culturally diverse community and work collaboratively in such an environment.
