Job Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services.
- Independently take medical histories, examine patients, and order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Formulate diagnoses, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and monitor patient progress.
- Document consultations and significant health changes, coordinate referrals, and respond to emergencies.
- Educate patients and healthcare staff on disease management and preventive care.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Valid Advanced Practice Nursing license in Connecticut.
- Connecticut Controlled Substance license and DEA license.
- BLS Certification by the American Heart Association.
- 100 hours of CME every two years and NCCPA certification, if applicable.
- Preferred: One year of experience in endocrinology or endocrine neoplasia.

- Monday–Friday, varied shifts as per department needs.
