Job Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of medications.
• Collaborate with physicians regarding drugs and dosing.
• Educate nursing staff, patients, and physicians about medications.
• Engage in Medication Safety initiatives and manage patient profiles.
• Avoid and report adverse drug reactions.
• Prepare IV admixtures and nutritional supplements.
• Maintain narcotic accountability.

Qualifications

• ACLS & BLS certifications.
• AZ Pharmacist License.
• Hospital experience and IV certification.
• Familiarity with MedHost EMR.

Working Hours

• Weekdays: 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM
• Weekends: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• On-call: Every other weekend, covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

• Strong understanding of state/federal and DEA laws.
