  • Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in the clinic, plus 8 call shifts per month, including one weekend of 24-hour call
  • Patient Population: All Ages
  • Location: Hood River, OR

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care
  • Manage an average of 15 patient encounters per shift
  • Perform routine and emergency deliveries, including C-sections and other complicated deliveries
  • Conduct minor office procedures and assist with surgical gynecology as needed

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Active Oregon medical license and DEA
  • BLS and NRP certifications required
  • Capability to obtain both OB and GYN privileges, supported by recent case logs

Working Hours

  • Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 24-Hour Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
  • Night Call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Skills

  • Strong proficiency in low and high-risk pregnancy management
  • Experience with obstetrical ultrasounds and FHR interpretation
  • Competence in performing and interpreting various gynecological procedures and surgeries
  • Ability to manage emergencies such as ectopic pregnancies during call shifts

This role requires skillful handling of both routine and complicated deliveries, as well as a collaborative approach to patient care in both clinical and inpatient settings.
