Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams to evaluate vision and detect eye diseases.
  • Diagnose and manage ocular conditions like glaucoma and cataracts.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Educate patients on eye health, vision correction, and preventive care.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
  • Maintain accurate patient records including interactions and treatment plans.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state optometry license.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient and staff interaction.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Compassionate care approach and ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.

Working Hours

  • Full-time or 1 week on/1 week off
