Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality inpatient care, focusing on all aspects of gastroenterology.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, esophageal dilatation, and colonoscopy.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain thorough patient records and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Must have completed a GI Fellowship
- Current medical license (Active or through IMLC)
- DEA certification required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
Working Hours
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Minimum of 14 shifts per month
Skills
- Proficient in upper and lower GI endoscopy, including biopsy and polyp excision.
- Experience with esophageal manometry and diagnostic ERCP.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
