Job Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality inpatient care, focusing on all aspects of gastroenterology.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, esophageal dilatation, and colonoscopy.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain thorough patient records and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • Must have completed a GI Fellowship
  • Current medical license (Active or through IMLC)
  • DEA certification required
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required

Working Hours

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Minimum of 14 shifts per month

Skills

  • Proficient in upper and lower GI endoscopy, including biopsy and polyp excision.
  • Experience with esophageal manometry and diagnostic ERCP.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
