Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose and evaluate cancer through medical history review and diagnostic tests.
- Develop personalized radiation therapy plans based on cancer type, stage, and location.
- Administer various radiation treatments, including stereotactic radiosurgery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Manage and provide care for radiation therapy side effects.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Engage in research to improve patient outcomes in radiation oncology.
Qualifications
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- NY State License in hand.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in radiation oncology.
- Must be board-eligible and preferably board-certified.
- Proficiency in EPIC charting system.
Working Hours
- Tuesday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills in oncology.
