Job Responsibilities

  • Perform and interpret a variety of radiological procedures, including stroke CTs, MRIs, and contrast-enhanced studies.
  • Conduct interventional radiology (IR) procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, and biopsies.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of diagnostic imaging nurses and techs.
  • Manage hospital coverage and provide support in outpatient settings as needed.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
  • Valid state license
  • Completion of Residency (required) and relevant Fellowship (preferred)
  • Certifications: BLS and DEA, CA Fluoroscopy certificate required

Working Hours

  • Set periods in July, August, September, October, November, and December
  • Daily schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Skills

  • Strong procedural skills, particularly in CT, ultrasound, and IR procedures.
  • Competency in acute care imaging, specifically for stroke and ICU studies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
