A well-established hospital is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their team in Rochester, Michigan. This role offers a dynamic and challenging environment in a 180-bed facility with 11 operating rooms, providing a wide range of services including cardiovascular, neuro, general, and more. The position involves rotating 8 or 10-hour day shifts, where you will conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, administer various types of anesthesia, and manage patients through their perioperative journey.

Job Responsibilities
– Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized care plans
– Administer general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care
– Monitor patients during procedures and manage anesthesia-related complications
– Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
– Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
Qualifications
– Current RN license and NBCRNA certification required
– Master’s or Doctorate from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
– Board certification required (AANA)
– BLS, ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
– Active Michigan license required at the time of application
– Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills required
– Accepting new graduates
Working Hours
– Rotating 8 or 10-hour day shifts
Skills
– Proficient in general surgical, obstetrical, and neurosurgical cases
– Additional skills in arterial line insertion, IV insertions, and floor intubations preferred
– Proficient in transitioning documentation systems, moving from paper to EMR (Epic)
