Job Responsibilities
- Perform renal dosing, IV to PO conversions, and electrolyte management
- Conduct Vancomycin and Aminoglycoside dosing, TPN dosing (Clinimix), and antimicrobial de-escalation
- Provide medication counseling and verification
- Oversight of pharmacy technicians while performing duties
Qualifications
- Current Florida Pharmacist License
- Sterile compounding experience
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with medical and nursing staff
Working Hours
- Variable day and night shifts
- Monday–Friday, with weekend and holiday coverage as needed
Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in the use of advanced pharmacy equipment and systems, including Dose Edge, Pharmacy Stars, and VigiLanz
- Familiarity with the Meditech Expanse documentation system
