Job Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia for a variety of surgical specialties, including ortho, trauma, vascular, and neuro
- Function under the medical direction of an anesthesiologist with CRNAs being medically directed in various ratios
- Participate in Non-Operating Room Anesthesia (NORA)
Qualifications
- Board Certification: NBCRNA required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a large medical center setting (No new graduates)
- State of Kentucky license required (Open to licensing)
- Recent Level 1 trauma experience required
Working Hours
- Full-time, 4×10 hour shifts per week
- Shift timing: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM with a half-hour lunch
- Must be available to work two weeks a month
Skills
- Expertise in intubation, central line, arterial line, and line placement
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, trauma-oriented environment
