Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the operating room as Surgical First Assist
- Provide medical surgical floor coverage
- Manage patient treatment by assisting with rounding, progress notes, and discharges
- Perform procedures such as cauterization, wound packing, and patient positioning
Qualifications
- Must have a valid NY State License
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience required
- BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications needed
- Board Certification required
- Experience with EPIC charting system
Working Hours
- Weekday Shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Weekend Call: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
- Rounds: Saturday–Sunday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
