Job Description

Join our team as a Pharmacist at an inpatient hospital, where you will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages. You will work collaboratively with physicians on drug distribution and dosing, educate nursing staff and patients regarding medication, and ensure medication safety. This role requires overnight shifts with a schedule of seven nights on, followed by seven nights off.

Job Responsibilities
– Accurate preparation and distribution of medications
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals on medication management
– Educate staff and patients about drug usage and safety
– Participate in Medication Safety initiatives
– Manage narcotic accountability and IV admixtures

Qualifications
– Valid AZ Pharmacist License
– ACLS & BLS Certifications
– Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient acute hospital experience
– Board Certification or accrediting pharmacy residency preferred

Working Hours
– Overnight shifts: 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM
– 7 Nights On / 7 Nights Off

Skills
– Proficiency in Cerner EMR
– Sterile compounding experience required
– Strong operational and people management skills
– Ability to work independently under pressure
– Experience with NICU orders processing preferred
