Job Responsibilities
– Provide outpatient care for oncology and hematology patients
– Conduct hospital consultations and ER support as needed
– Supervise and assist with urgent patient needs
– Participate in tumor boards and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
– Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology (double boarded preferred)
– Fellowship required
– Willingness to obtain PA license if not already licensed
– Experience in hematology oncology preferred, but less experienced candidates will be considered
Working Hours
– Regular clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
– Call schedule: 1 week per month with both inpatient and phone call responsibilities
Skills
– Proficient in consultation for hematology and oncology cases
– Ability to manage typical cases such as lung, breast, prostate, and colorectal cancers
– Familiarity with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion treatments
– Strong communication and team collaboration skills
