Job Responsibilities
- Provide expert nephrology care, including management of dialysis patients and post-renal transplant care.
- Perform renal biopsies, hemodialysis catheter placement, and peritoneal dialysis management.
- Participate actively in the facility’s trauma level 1 care team.
Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Nephrology
- Fellowship in Nephrology required
- Certification in necessary nephrology procedures
Working Hours
- Weekend call, Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM
Skills
- Proficient in hemodialysis, CRRT, peritoneal dialysis, and renal biopsy
- Strong ability to manage complex nephrology cases in a hospital setting
