Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage medical issues in a Gastroenterology/Internal Medicine setting.
- Educate patients and families on preventive care and prescribed treatments.
- Document medical evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, and consultations in compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with physicians on complex cases and serious illnesses.
- Provide interventions and prescribe medications tailored to patients' needs.
Qualifications
- AHA BLS certification
- Valid NY State License
- Minimum of 3 years recent Physician Assistant experience in gastroenterology
- Board Certified
- Proficiency in EPIC
Working Hours
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
