Job Responsibilities

• Manage neonatal airway including intubation
• Perform emergent UVC placement and manage neonatal pneumothorax
• Conduct lumbar punctures and interpret EKGs
• Collaborate with ED and anesthesia services for advanced procedures

Qualifications

• Active CA license required
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3–5 years post-residency
• Certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, and PALS

Working Hours

• 24-hour call duties, not required to remain on-site

Skills

• Required: Neonatal airway management, intubation, central line placement, EKG interpretation
• Preferred: Ventilator management, chest tube insertion in neonates, needle decompression
