Job Responsibilities
– Provide comprehensive primary and family care services to patients of all ages.
– Conduct routine check-ups, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations.
– Develop and manage personalized treatment plans for individuals.
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
– Valid and unrestricted medical license
– Board certification or eligibility in Primary Care or Family Medicine
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

ADDED:
Location: Fully Remote
Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/week) or Part-time (20 hrs/week) and weekends available
Pay: $175 per hour, 1099 independent contractor
Responsibilities:
Review medical cases to determine medical necessity and appropriateness of care using evidence-based guidelines and health plan policies
Perform prior authorization, concurrent, and retrospective reviews
Apply InterQual, MCG, and health plan guidelines to determine medical necessity
Participate in peer-to-peer discussions with providers when needed
Collaborate with UM nurses and medical directors to support appropriate care decisions
Ensure compliance with CMS, NCQA, and URAC standards
Requirements
MD or DO degree
Board Certification preferred
Active unrestricted medical license (any state)
Utilization Management experience within a health plan
Experience with Medicare/Medicaid and commercial plans preferred
