Job Responsibilities
– Management and treatment of complex nephrology conditions including but not limited to Bartter's Syndrome, Fabry Disease, and Renal Transplantation.
– Perform procedures such as Hemodialysis and Percutaneous Renal Biopsy.
– Conduct inpatient rounds and consults, covering approximately 70% inpatient and 30% outpatient care.
– Maintain availability for on-call duties, providing care and expertise during evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
– Board Certification in Nephrology required.
– Fellowship in related specialty preferred.
– Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
– Experience with renal conditions and procedures preferred.
Working Hours
– Requires availability for at least one week per month, ideally two weeks.
– Outpatient Clinic: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
– On-call: Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM following week.
Skills
– Expertise in the management and treatment of rare and complex renal syndromes.
– Proficient in performing renal-related procedures with a preference for needle biopsy of the kidney.
– Ability to manage both outpatient and inpatient nephrology cases effectively.
– Strong communication skills to provide comprehensive patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
