Job Responsibilities
- Manage a patient volume of 12 to 15 patients per day with a case mix of ~80% oncology and ~20% hematology.
- Collaborate effectively with a team composed of 1 MD and 1 NP, along with additional nursing support.
- Perform bone marrow procedures if needed; most are handled by Interventional Radiology.
Qualifications
- Active New York medical license required
- Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
- Must have updated immunization records, flu vaccine or declination, and a negative TB or QuantiFERON Gold test within 1 year of start
- Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
Working Hours
- 40 hours per week with varied shifts
Skills
- Strong ability to manage both benign and malignant hematology cases
- Proficiency in performing and/or assisting with hematology/oncology procedures
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with multidisciplinary team
