Job Responsibilities
- Dispense medications with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information.
- Provide daily oversight of drug distribution processes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
- Nevada Pharmacist License or the ability to obtain a temporary license within 6 months.
- BLS and ACLS certifications, with opportunity to obtain post-hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Working Hours
- 40 hours per week guaranteed.
- Regular shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with shared on-call responsibilities and a rotation of 8 days on, 6 days off.
Skills
- Proficiency with Omnicell Automated Dispense Machines and Med Host systems.
- Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge and medication management in various populations.
