A unique opportunity awaits at an outpatient clinic in Cambridge, Ohio, for an experienced Emergency and Trauma specialist. We are seeking a dedicated physician available for a minimum of five shifts monthly, with a commitment for ongoing availability over the next 12 months. This role accommodates night and weekend shifts in a dynamic environment with a high patient volume.

  • Start Date: As soon as credentialed (minimum 60+ days)
  • Schedule: Physician shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; APP shifts: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM, 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM
  • Patient Population: All Ages
  • Location: Cambridge, OH
  • Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to emergency and trauma patients of all ages.
  • Perform examinations, evaluate medical issues, and develop treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for patient transfers and further care.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified by ABMS/AOA (IM/FM).
  • Ohio state license required; IMLC accepted with proof of LOQ.
  • Must have 2+ years of recent experience in emergency medicine.
  • Certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP are required.
  • COVID vaccination is mandatory.

Working Hours

  • Participation in 12-hour shifts covering day and night rotations.

Skills

  • Proficient in using EMR systems; experienced with MediTech preferred.
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Capable of working independently and within a team setting in high-pressure environments.
