Job Responsibilities
– Manage 3-6 pediatric patients per shift
– Conduct approximately 5 emergency department consults per shift
– Perform lumbar punctures, X-ray interpretation, EKG interpretation, and suturing minor lacerations

Qualifications
– Board Certified in Pediatrics
– BLS and PALS certifications required
– Fellowship in Pediatrics preferred
– Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days

Working Hours
– 24-hour shifts with the possibility of up to 3 consecutive shifts
– Overnight call taken from home

Skills
– Expertise in general pediatrics and hospitalist medicine
– Proficient in basic interpretations and procedures such as X-ray, EKG, and lumbar punctures
– Strong interpersonal skills for patient and family interactions
