Join a high-volume medical facility as a Gastroenterologist providing essential call coverage services. This role requires in-house presence during the day, with beeper call-back responsibilities after hours. Coverage is needed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for four consecutive weekends, with immediate availability upon completion of credentialing.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care in gastroenterology, including ERCP and EUS procedures.
- Conduct upper and lower GI endoscopies, with capabilities in biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeders.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP, PEG procedures, esophageal dilation/manometry, small bowel biopsy, and colonoscopy with polyp excision.
- Manage liver biopsies and insertion/management of Sengstaken-Blakemore tubes.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Possession of ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proficient in the use of endoscopic technologies and associated procedures
- Expertise in both diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterological care
Working Hours
- 24-hour call coverage from Friday to Sunday for four consecutive weekends
Skills
- Strong proficiency in ERCP and EUS
- Competence in various endoscopic procedures including esophageal manometry interpretation and flexible/rigid sigmoidoscopy
- Excellent patient management and communication skills in high-pressure environments
