Job Responsibilities

  • Attend to scheduled clinic patients and provide consultations.
  • Perform surgeries including but not limited to diagnostic colonoscopies, cholecystectomy, and appendectomy.
  • Respond to traumas in the emergency department.
  • Ensure comprehensive post-operative care for surgery patients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation with EMR systems (Meditech and eCW).

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Surgery
  • Current Oregon State License (or in process)
  • ACLS, BLS, DEA certifications required
  • Clean malpractice history preferred
  • Recent Self-Query NPDB report required

Working Hours

  • Full-time schedule with variations, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • On-call duties include weekends and holidays as per the rotating schedule.
